While mapping ways to create a better life, it is extremely important to start by mapping out your day for increased success. Not everyone can make a quantum leap from not having success to obtaining success. When working toward creating success it is best to make small steps at first then increase your movement daily.
Not every step in life has to be huge. There are small changes that we can practice daily, that will create big changes later on down the road.
Simple steps that gradually shift your mindset can do wonders for creating longterm successes. Here are 12 daily steps that will make you have a better day, and ultimately help you to create greater successes in your life.
- Don’t look at your cell phone for the first and last hours of the day.
If you can refrain from viewing social media, text messages, Youtube, Twitter, etc., etc. for the first and last hours of your day your mind will be better off. At first, you may experience withdrawals and anxiety but stick with it. Creating a healthier mindset is not without its discomforts.
2. While brushing your teeth in the morning, look in the mirror hum a happy tune, and tap your foot!
Set the mood in your head that today is going to be a better day. Everything is going my way today. This may seem corny or even a bit on the crazy sign but it works. Trying this little helpful step in the morning doesn’t take or waste any of your time, so there is nothing to lose.
3. Listen to one song that reminds you of when you were 16, or at least an earlier time in your life which is joyful to reflect upon.
Look I know that sometimes listening to music from the past can conjure some less than joyful memories, but it can also lift your spirits. Choose your oldies music wisely and it can spark a day that will deliver all kinds of successful moments.
